TIMETABLE CASUAL CLASSES
Casual classes are marked on the timetable below. These classes are drop-in classes suitable for a range of levels (although complete beginners are recommended to take a beginner course before joining open classes) You can bring $18, for a casual class, or buy a concession card ($70) for five classes which you can use over a term. (Please note, no eftpos). Or you can become a member.
Membership is $24 per week giving you have unlimited yoga and Pilates, courses and casual classes. Minimum term six months, $40 joining fee. For membership information and to join, email us. Discounts available to Community Services Card holders, students and over 65’s.
Courses are clearly marked on the timetable and to attend a course you must register. Scroll down to see the list of courses and start times. You can start courses part way through the term if there is space and pay the balance of the course fee for the remaining weeks. Members can also come to any of the courses as part of their membership, but must register to allow us to manage class size. Concessions can not be used for courses.
Please note: There are no classes on public holidays. Evening classes run weekly. Morning classes may stop over school holidays. Courses run in term time only. Scroll down for course start dates. .

Beginner Yoga with Jessica – Monday 6:15pm – 7:15pm (starts 12th Feb – 9th April ) 8 weeks @ $128 This beginners course will take you through all of the basic yoga poses, showing you correct technique and building each week to get you ready for the open level classes. You will learn to link movement with breath which is an integral part of your yoga practise. You need not be flexible or strong, this is a class where you work to your personal limits and you will gain strength and flexibility along the way, while finding a sense of both physical and emotional balance. You will leave this class feeling a sense of strength and a sense of calm.
Beginner Pilates (All Levels) with Rob Monday 7.30pm – 8.30pm (starts 12th Feb – 9th April) 8 weeks @ $120 Pilates is a whole body practise focusing on alignment, body awareness and functional movement with the aim of improving your overall strength, mobility and agility. The breath is used a tool to aid your movement in class and support your daily life. Through Pilates you learn to use the body, mind and breath as one, ultimately improving your quality of life. Great for your posture, back health and general well being. Class will be tailored to complete beginners as well as options for people who are ready to work a little harder. Rob will provide harder options for our Pilates regulars who are looking to extend themselves further.
Mums and Bubs Yoga with Helene – Wednesday 10.45am-11.45am (starts 31st January – 28th March) 9 weeks @ $135 A fun and playful way to ease back in to your yoga practice after baby, or try yoga for the first time. Yoga is fantastic for recovering from child birth. Steal some time for yourself, focus on your breath, re-align your body an re-centre your mind. This class will be a gentle introduction, working with your post natal body towards a strong and balanced recovery from pregnancy and birth. This is a relaxed class where you can feel comfortable feeding,/ changing and settling your babies in the company of other local mums. Suitable for babies from 8 weeks – 2yrs.
Kids Yoga with Tanya Holak – 4pm-5pm (starts 7th Feb – 28th March) 8 weeks @ $120 (7-12 years) A fun and playful introduction to yoga for children. Children will learn yoga poses and sun salutations while integrating movement with breath. Through a series of fun games and flows they will learn to move their bodies while calming their minds. They will set a mindful intention for every practice, becoming more mindfully aware of themselves and people around them. Every session will end with a guided imagery meditation, teaching them to block out external distraction and focus on their thoughts while allowing stillness in their bodies. These guided imageries will give them ideas of how to deal with negative emotions like fear, anxiety, and anger, and will show them ways to find a sense of calm within themselves. Yoga builds confidence with strengthening poses and challenges, while encouraging a sense of self acceptance and understanding for individual limitations.
Prenatal Yoga with Zanna and Misato – (starts 31st January – 21st March) 8 weeks @ $128 Practising yoga throughout your pregnancy is proven to help with fatigue, stress and strain placed on your changing body. You will develop strength and stamina with yoga poses to strengthen your hips, back arms and shoulders. You will fine tune your balance physically and emotionally. You will relieve tension in lower back, hips, chest, upper back and neck and shoulders. This class will also offer relaxation and deep breathing techniques to assist you during labor. A calm pregnancy will create a calm baby, and you will also meet like-minded local mums in your area. Suitable from second trimester onwards. Zanna and Misato are experienced, prenatal qualified and have had babies themselves.
Pilates Plus – Hard Core! with Cristian – Thursday 7pm – 8pm (TBC) 4 weeks @ $60
Are you looking for a more physically challenging Pilates class? Cristian offers a strong class mindful of body awareness and good posture while increasing core strength, flexibility, agility and balance. This is a great class for those looking for a strong, mindful workout.
Mums and Bubs Pilates – Thursday 10am – 11am (TBC) 8 weeks @ $120
Pilates is highly recommended after giving birth to help restore your core muscles and pelvic floor, rebuilding stability and posture to support your back. Come with or without baby, this class will be a forgiving easygoing environment where stopping to feed, cuddle or play is part of the experience. Babies from 8 weeks to crawling. Mums under 20 years old free.
Prenatal Pilates with Zoe/Ingrid – Saturday 9.15am-10.15am (starts 20th January – 10th March) 8 weeks @ $120 Keeping your body strong during pregnancy has multiple benefits for your changing body and can help with your post-natal recovery. This more gentle class will focus on strength and a good stretch. As your baby grows, and changes the balance of your body it is important to maintain good posture. Strengthening exercises will eliminate back, neck and shoulder pain. Ingrid is an exercise professional who has taught prenatal pilates for years and she will safely guide you through this course Suitable from second trimester onwards. Mums under 20 years old free.
Pilates with Props (All Levels) Course with Zoe/Ingrid – Saturday 8am – 9am (3rd February – 24th March) 8 weeks @ $120 This fun pilates class incorporates the use of small equipment: bands, balls, rollers and the Pilates ‘Magic Circle’ ring. Props can help provide essential feedback, enhancing the mind/body connection in order to encourage a stronger understanding of the ‘Pilates’ method. Apparatus increases variety and provides more options for level progression. This is a complete body workout which will increase your physical stability, strength and flexibility leaving you feeling energised, strong and stretched. Suits all levels.

Bliss Restorative Yoga $25 (single class) – Sunday 21st January @ 10am Instructor – HELENE This is 1.5 hour class which is full of restorative yoga poses followed by a 30 minute relaxation guaranteed to leave you ‘blissed out’. A great way to unwind at the end of the week. Enjoy delicious hand made bliss balls and hydrating herbal tea with us after class.
