The aim of this course is to improve your overall strength and agility. Pilates is a whole body practise focusing on alignment, body awareness and functional movement. You will be looking to strengthen and tone, to move more dynamically while maintaining form. And of course you’ll be firming up those abs and glutes! Great for your posture, back health and general well being. This course will be tailored to complete beginners as well as options for people who are ready to work a little harder.

Like yoga and pilates and looking for a little bit EXTRA?! Hiit Pilates is fast paced pilates with an aerobic element guaranteed to work up a bit of a sweat. Using pilates principles to strengthen, re-align, stretch and tone,  you will notice a change in the look and feel of your body and also find a sense of awakening and invigoration to begin the weekend! This is a lively class to music that will get your heart rate up and muscles flexing! THINK PILATES BOOT CAMP! MAYBE EVEN A BURPEE IN THERE!

This beginners course will take you through all of the basic yoga poses, showing you correct technique and building each week to get you ready for the open level classes. You will learn to link movement with breath which is an integral part of your yoga practise. You need not be flexible or strong, this is a class where you work to your personal limits and you will gain strength and flexibility along the way, while finding a sense of both physical and emotional balance. You will leave this class feeling a sense of strength and a sense of calm.

Restorative yoga is about finding stillness and releasing tension in the body. We are looking to slow down, to gently move our body through a series of postures and hold them for longer. Giving more time to explore, to focus on breath, to tune inwards finding time for introspective awareness. Discover time to increase awareness of ‘presence’ to notice what we sense and what we feel. This is a quiet, meditative practice which will release tension, balance the nervous system, and increase flexibility and circulation. You also get to experience our beautiful Bliss Yoga class which includes a 30min guided yoga nidra relaxation with bliss balls and tea following class. (Please note members can attend Yin classes but the Bliss 1.5hr Class will be an additional cost).

This is a nourishing 75min class is full of restorative yoga poses to soften the body in preparation for a restful meditaion in stillness. Get cosy as Tanija will guide you through a 30 minute yoga nidra meditation where you will float on the verge of sleep, guaranteed to leave you ‘blissed out’. A great way to unwind at the end of the week. Enjoy delicious hand made bliss balls and beautiful herbal tea with us after class.

Practising yoga throughout your pregnancy is proven to help with fatigue, stress and strain placed on your changing body. You will develop strength and stamina with yoga poses to strengthen your hips, back arms and shoulders. You will fine tune your balance physically and emotionally. You will relieve tension in lower back, hips, chest, upper back and neck and shoulders. This class will also offer relaxation and deep breathing techniques to assist you during labour.  A calm pregnancy will create a calm baby, and you will also meet like-minded local mums in your area. Suitable from second trimester onwards. Megan is a highly qualified instructor who brings a wealth of knowledge from 20 years of both traditional and contemporary yoga experience.

A fun and playful way to ease back in to your yoga practice after baby, or try yoga for the first time. Yoga and Pilates are fantastic for recovering from child birth. Steal some time for yourself, focus on your breath, re-align your body and re-centre your mind. There will be a focus on core and glute strength using Pilates principles to re-stabilise your post-partum body, working towards a strong and balanced recovery from pregnancy and birth. This is a relaxed class where you can feel comfortable feeding,/ changing and settling your babies in the company of other local mums. Suitable for babies from 8 weeks – 2yrs.
